From Gwalior to Delhi: Four Decades of Local Stories
Since 1982, bringing local issues to life through the power of visual satire and social commentary.
My journey as a cartoonist began in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, where I first picked up the pen at age 17. From covering local municipal issues in Dainik Bhaskar to introducing political cartoons to Lucknow through Nav Bharat Times in 1992, I've always believed that local stories deserve the same attention as national headlines. Whether it's Delhi's infrastructure challenges, Madhya Pradesh's agricultural concerns, or the everyday struggles of common citizens, these cartoons reflect the pulse of our communities. Having worked across major publications and now contributing to regional newspapers, I continue to document the hopes, frustrations, and humor of local life through my art.
